This fantastic production of the acclaimed CBS Television series has been expertly and wonderfully adapted by the ever-talented Anne Washburn (Mr Burns) and alongside the incredible directive of Olivier Award-winner Richard Jones (Into The Woods) this production is surely going to receive critical acclaim – it did in our eyes!

During its original reign on CBS, The Twilight Zone won 3 Emmy awards and despite being quite aged, the tales that run through into this production are as young, fresh and relevant as ever.

The production brilliantly leads you on a chilling journey right into the depths of the unknown. A journey through eight different stories set where the extraordinary is ordinary, impossible is not recognised as a word and where your imagination and reality fall wonderfully in sync with one another to whisk you away right in the comfort of the auditorium.

Richard Jones has done a fantastic job of putting together this funny and frightening production that is a joy to behold from start to finish. Not only will fans of the original series find this production truly magical, but even those with no memory of The Twilight Zone will walk away unsure of the current time and their surroundings.

The costume design by Nicky Gillibrand was inspiring and kudos does have to be given to Mimi Jordan Sherin, DM Wood, Sarah Angliss and Christopher Shutt for their incredible work with sound and lighting; we felt transported throughout the whole production and this could not have been achieved without the hard work of this phenomenal team.

Oliver Alvin-Wilson (Nine Night) was absolutely brilliant and the chemistry between him and Natasha J Barnes (Wasted) was second to none. Both of their performances were vibrant, capturing and overall, out of this dimension!

The Twilight Zone at the Ambassadors Theatre truly allowed us once again to fall into that dimension that exists between imagination and reality; a fun performance that was not only thought to provoke but swept us away flawlessly and without force.

It is so tough to put a finger on what made this performance so amazing; the cast was brilliant; their ability to play different roles throughout was mesmerising and left ourselves, and the audience in complete awe. The lighting, the sound, the costumes, the special FX and the staging were completely and utterly eccentric and wonderfully weird – the inner child in us was left perplexed and wanting more, but in a truly good way!

With so many twists and turns throughout this wonderful production of The Twilight Zone be sure to sit back, get settled, and get ready for an out of this world performance that will totally blow your mind!
